Maico was a German motorcycle maker from Pfäffingen, near Tübingen, whose two-stroke motocross and enduro bikes were among the fastest of the 1970s. The original company went bankrupt in 1983 and closed in 1986, and smaller firms have since built bikes under the Maico name.
